Bridge Kitchenware
This venerable New York City source for the complete range of professional cookware has moved to ... New Jersey! I still remember shopping the sales when Fred Bridge was running the store on East 52nd street. About twice a year, at seemingly random intervals, he would place a block ad in the New York Times announcing a storewide sale (usually 20% off absolutely everything). However, during the sale he wouldn't allow more than a certain number of people in the store, which inevitably led to a long line coursing down the street. And if one customer came out, and a couple was next in line to go in, he would make them wait until another person exited.
