	Bridge Kitchenware This venerable New York City source for the complete range of professional cookware has moved to ... New Jersey! I still remember shopping the sales when Fred Bridge was running the store on East 52nd street. About twice a year, at seemingly random intervals, he would place a block ad in the New York Times announcing a storewide sale (usually 20% off absolutely everything). However, during the sale he wouldn't allow more than a certain number of people in the store, which inevitably led to a long line coursing down the street. And if one customer came out, and a couple was next in line to go in, he would make them wait until another person exited.

	Zabars More than just a kitchen mega-store, Zabar's is also a monster grocery store (and sells their own delicious coffee roasts at amazing discount prices).

	Gala Source Essentially a restaurant and catering supply company, Gala Source carries and extensive assortment of my favorite cookware (black steel)..

	Williams Sonoma The California based food specialty store with a large number of seasonal and exclusive items.

	Chefs A large online and catalog outfit with a complete range of kitchen equipment.

	Old Chatham Sheepherding Company Delectable cheeses and yogurts made from sheep's milk.

	Gustiamo Amazing food products from the land where the lemon trees bloom. You can find everything here - tuna from Sicily, exotic sauces, condiments, even some recipes thrown in.

	Earthy Delights Shop this Michigan gourmet store for all sorts of ingredients, condiments and sauces. You can also browse the paperless online catalog or sign up for an email newsletter.

		World Spice Merchants This seattle retailer carries a huge assortment of pure whole spices from around the world and grinds them (only if you desire) within twenty-four hours of shipping.

		Taste the Pain If you like zing, you can shop hundreds of products here. Buyer beware: a signed bottle of Blair's Mega Death Limited Edition hot sauce will set you back $1,000.

		Balducci's An online supermarket with great gift baskets for all occasions.

		Bob's Red Mill A comprehensive collection of flours, grains and cereals, many available in an organic variety. It's where I get the light and dark rye flours to make what I consider the mother of all breads: the great Normandy Rye.

		Penzey's Spices A mega-assortment of spices and seasonings, attractive gift boxes and related items.

		Cybercucina A great source for hard to find ingredients (especially Italian) and a host of other related products.

	Ben & Jerry's Flavor Graveyard A "graveyard" of discontinued flavors from the colorful ice cream duo.

	The Museum of Pasta An entire museum devoted to this economical yet highly versatile food (also available in English).

	Leite's Culinaria Food writer David Leite's award winning site is a required destination for foodies. Lots of recipes (including his Portuguese specialty), fascinating writings, beautiful photography, a blog and more enliven this site.

		The Splendid Table Host Lynne Rossetto Kasper never fails to surprise and delight in this NPR on-air food magazine with an assortment of fasctinating guests and a wealth of information.

		Food & Wine The website for the popular food magazine has a large number of recipes, a nifty wine selector, blogs, cooking videos and a lot more.

	Slow Food International "Slow Food is a non-profit, eco-gastronomic member-supported organization that was founded in 1989 to counteract fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people’s dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world." That sums it up for this organization founded in, where else, Italy.
